Heavy Forklifts
With their new series of heavy forklift trucks, Hyundai is aiming for a new customer base. A variety of businesses, from the concrete and natural stone industries, to the steel industry, the railway sector and the transportation of heavy goods in the ports are all working with and depending on heavy duty machines. The efficiency and power offered by the units keep cost of operation low and offer the very best conditions for efficient work. These machines could excel in the nearly all tough settings.
Offering the needed power on all of the large capacity units, the Cummins diesel engine ranges from 162 horse-power to 250 horse-power. TierIII emission standards are met with engines which have 6 cylinders. These models can take the truck up to a speed of 35 km/h. It can climb on rough terrain and steep slopes and provides great acceleration too.
The operator can utilize a switch to be able to pick 1 of 2 driving modes. When in "Power" mode, full power is available for work on tough terrain or heavy loads. In the "STP" mode, the trucks could save lots of fuel during light-duty work. Additionally, just by pressing a switch, the operator could automatically maintain a selected speed without touching the accelerator pedal. This is another fuel saving feature. The forklift's fully automatic transmission gently shifts through the gears, making the equipment easy to maneuver and comfortable to operate.
The well-ventilated cabin offers a comfortable and spacious working place. The cabin combines fatigue-free work with high performance. The powerful air conditioning and heating system helps ensure the operator is comfortable inside. The cab was ergonomically designed to give a bird's eye view of all of the controls, in addition to the overall safety of the unit. A CD player and an MP3 player put the finishing touches on providing the nice atmosphere which Hyundai equipment are supposed to have.
