End Control Forklifts
The stand-up end control forklift is a really flexible machinery and is well known in the material handling business. These machinery have superior performance features which are somewhat similar to sit-down electric forklift models.
These lift truck units are great for warehouse settings that have limited space. The space needed to operate these machines are less than the three-wheel electric lift truck truck requirements. These machines are an excellent choice for applications which require regular off and on access, since their stand-up design is an exceptional feature.
The reach truck is a loading device utilized by a variety of businesses that maintain a storage facility which involves the arrangement of finished goods on pallets and supplies that are stacked or stored into tall shelving compartments. The reach truck provides safe and easy retrieval of the loaded pallets. It is also an excellent option for individuals who prefer to store pallets of products they do not require yet in an efficient and safe way.
All standard reach truck units will have an out-rigging mechanism secured to the front of the machine. Telescoping blades are mounted to the out-rigging and can move down and up. The forks also include a hydraulic system which enables the operator to pick up the load and reposition it over the out-riggers. This particular design not only provides a lot more balance to the whole load, but makes it easier for the reach truck to move into narrow aisles between the storage shelves.
When the reach truck finds the shelves which are designated for the pallet, the hydraulics enable the forks to swing into position and lower the pallet into the shelving, sliding the pallet into place. Usually, a reach truck will easily fit into an aisle that is less than 10 feet wide without problems, so long as there are no other pallets protruding out from the shelving area.
